Standard Quartette
The Standard Quartette were pioneers of their time an African American Quartet who had recorded cylinders for the Columbia label in New York 1891, the members of the Quartette were, DeMoss H.C. Williams R.L. Scott and William Cottrell. The Quartette were also cast in the travelling show, 'South Before the War' in 1893.
