Standard Quartette
The Standard Quartette were pioneers of their time an African American Quartet having recording cylinders for the Columbia label in New York 1891 members of the Quartette are DeMoss H.C. Williams R.L. Scott and William Cottrell. In 1893 they were cast in the travelling show 'South Before the War.
